Issue
Tonic Health set a goal to launch its own R&D center in Ukraine. When tackling the challenge on their own, the company struggled. According to Tonic’s CEO Boris Glants, they decided to switch from traditional outsourcing to a more flexible model that gives more control over product development.
It was near-to-impossible to achieve their goal to hire 5-6 employees per month. The problem? Job offer rejections due to a weak employer brand on the local market. It was high time to dazzle the Ukrainian tech sphere with a top-quality employer branding campaign. That was what initiated Tonic’s cooperation with Alcor in the first place.
With their employer brand duly launched, Tonic relied on Alcor to reach the main goal — a fully operational R&D office in Ukraine.
Solution
Alcor assigned the healthcare software client to the whole range of professionals with an in-depth expertise in the Ukrainian tech market. Thus, Tonic Health benefited from Alcor’s full scope of marketing services — from SMM and KPI tracking to employer brand promotion.
We then followed with the R&D process: recruited senior software developers, handled accounting and HR, and registered new employees. Finally, we negotiated an office lease for Tonic and provided the team with necessary equipment.
