It enables patients to seamlessly fill out surveys and consent forms and make payments in real time. Funded in 2011, Tonic has become a fully HIPAA and 21 CFR 11 compliant, EHR-integrated and convenient for users. Tonic Health has also raised $10.8 million of investment.

Issue

Tonic Health set a goal to launch its own R&D center in Ukraine. When tackling the challenge on their own, the company struggled. According to Tonic’s CEO Boris Glants, they decided to switch from traditional outsourcing to a more flexible model that gives more control over product development.
