ThredUP is the world’s largest consignment store backed by world-class investors. The company was founded in 2009 with the Head Office in Oakland, California. Today it owns an online resale platform for second-hand clothing and employs around 1,400 people who inspire global consumers to think “secondhand first”.
Issue
As software teams in Eastern Europe and the USA prepared to work on different parts of the same product, ThredUP found itself in search of a business structure that would offer both cost-effectiveness and transparency.
The company aimed to seamlessly collaborate with programmers from Eastern Europe and streamline HR payroll procedures.
